The 10,000 Maniacs' song These Are the Days was playing and I was taken back to the day I heard about Kurt Cobain's suicide. I was sitting at my desk at AARP and I think it was Len Brehmer, maybe Frank E. Lee on WXRT announced Cobain's death. It was early afternoon.
