I woke up to snow today. It was the perfect kind, too light to need to be shoveled or make the roads dangerous, but enough to be pretty outside. And by this afternoon when I left work it was mostly melted which is kind of disappointing, but at least hopefully this means it wouldn't be icy tomorrow morning.

Mmmm, snow.
Beautiful, BR.
I'm in Carrboro, staying with my sister for a while, and I don't expect to see much of that.
Asheville, on the other hand, has had two "snow events" since I left last Wednesday.
The Weather Gods are having too much fun with me and my frustrations.
Sentimental Snow. Yikes. [I remember the blizzard of '79 like it was yesterday. 2 feet if snow followed by weeks of the coldest weather I can recall. No school for 2 weeks in January. Schools out in July.]
Oh your snow looks nice...
I've never seen snow! Wow it's pretty! We are hoping for rain tomorrow (I live in Southern California). I hope you have fun with all the white stuff.
Man, that looks like home. (Shut up, MathMan, it's a well established fact that I'm homesick for Chicago. But don't call me sentimental.)
Beautiful snow! It's 70 degrees here!
