I didn't post on Friday obviously, but I have wanted to post this stuff for most of this week so I will do it today.
I have not usually watched American Idol as I find it too pop-py and annoying, but GG likes to watch it and it is a good time waster in many ways. So I have been watching the auditions this year and well "Norman Gentle" is possibly one of the funniest auditions I have ever seen. He knows he is a comedy act and as he shows toward the end he can sing when he wants to, but more importantly he zings Simon better than any contestant, I would dare say ever.
And then I had said in a question of the day earlier in the week that The Yardbirds were the best British band of all time. i know there are many arguments for the Beatles and I really like he Beatles too, but the Yardbirds just were one of these bands that I really like. I just get tired of the whole notion that the Beatles were the best band of all time ever in any universe, there are a lot of really great bands and The Yardbirds are one of the greatest, IMHO.

Dood, American Idol is only something I watch is there is nothing else on .... And then, usually, only the auditions .....
Oh shoot, now you are making me kind of want to watch Idol after I swore that I wouldn't watch another one of their seasons.
