Has anything really changed?

This is a speech by a 13 year old girl from 1992 where she talks about the degradation of our environment and yet nothing has changed. As she says at the end, "Words are hollow, we need more action." This is why this election is so important.

And as I look through history, I find a never ending supply of people urging social responsibility, which only is incorporated by most people in times of utter catastrophe.

Suppose it must be human nature that way.
