Movie Review- Superbad

I didn't actually think this was going to be a good film, but I liked 40 Year Old Virgin and they did a good job with Freaks and Geeks. I just think the Judd Apatow has gotten worse and worse. The 40 Year Old Virgin was funny, and interesting and I loved it. Knocked Up was not too great, but I could deal with it and it was not totally annoying. But Superbad was just that, it was super bad. There was no redeeming value to this film. I am not sure if they were trying to make it cheesy and just dumb like Wet Hot American Summer, which was really funny in its cheese, but they failed with Superbad. Micheal Cera who was on Arrested Development was OK in the film, but the writing was horrible and it just came out as a pathetic and annoying film. I watched the whole thing to see if it could get any worse and it never got better. So don't bother watching this film.
