I love my Mac

I got a copy of the new Mac operating system, Leopard, from my brother and finally got a chance to install it. I had to first make back-ups of some key information, but then I was ready to go. I found the process incredibly easy to install Leopard and really it didn't seem to take much time, maybe an hour. The new OS does not seem to be radically different than its predecessor, but it does have some nice features, such as it is easier for me to log onto my network than with Tiger, the old OS. There are some other nice features that I am sure I will like as I get used to them. I am just getting used to some of the new features and quirks, but I do like it so far. So if you have a Mac and are thinking about upgrading to Leopard, do it. And the best part is that unlike Microsoft, you do not need a product key so it is quicker and easier and I can mail the disc back to my brother who actually bought it.

I have just been lazy and have not done this yet!

Mac seems to be far easier than Windows in all fathomable ways. I'm just cheap and broke and haven't broken down and purchased an Apple.

CK- Yeah a Mac is definitely more expensive than a PC so it is a big sacrifice, but I have been pretty happy with mine. I can't see myself getting another PC when i need a new desktop.

DCap- I have been happy with mine. The converting stuff over will be a bit of a pain, but Apple is better about that kind of stuff than Microsoft in my experiences. I got Microsoft Office for Apple and the documents work on both PC and Apple, so no issue there. And Mac allows you to set up your system to run both Windows and Mac on the same computer, so if may make converting stuff over easier or not even necessary. Heck Leopard has the Bootcamp assistant that allows you to put XP or Vista onto your Mac.
